The driver of a tractor-trailer unit suffered a shoulder injury Wednesday afternoon when he lost control and drove off the road 20 kilometres south of Kamloops on Highway 5A.
The semi-trailer truck based out of Alberta was travelling northbound at about 5 p.m. when the incident occurred.
The truck slipped down an embankment and tipped onto its side.
The driver was taken to Royal Inland Hospital after a witness called emergency services.
