The Kamloops Blaze U14 Tier 1 boys soccer team lost in a semifinal at the weekend’s Bellingham Baker Blast tournament.
Kamloops opened with a 2-1 victory over Richmond United, with Dario Piva and Kailum Nicolson scoring the goals.
Piva had another goal as Kamloops tied Whatcom FC Rangers 1-1.
Nicolson provided the offence in a 1-0 victory over the WFC Rangers U15 Gold, before losing 1-0 in a shootout to SFC in a semifinal.
Matthew Mackenzie was in goal for the entire weekend.
