Jetty Road ready to rock

Ramp Records recording artists Jetty Road have added the Merritt Mountain Festival to their list of Canadian tour dates this summer.

"We have great memories of playing Merritt Mountain Music Festival in 2009, and when we were asked to return, we immediately accepted," says Jetty Road lead singer, Paula Bowman. "Organizer Don Adams and the B.C. country music scene have been so incredibly supportive of Jetty Road."

Last summer the band made their first big Canadian debut touring radio stations and major music festivals. The band's first single, “ Let It Out,” off their album Far Away Places, was added to over 60 radio stations' play lists across the nation.

“We love Canada, we are so grateful to all our fans, Canadian country radio and everyone who has supported us in Canada. We look forward to returning for our summer tour,” says Bowman. “Overall, Canada has a fantastic music community—and we're really excited to be playing at some of Canada’s biggest festivals again this summer."

Jetty Road’s fourth album, Far Away Places, was released in Canada on June 28 and is expected to make this a breakthrough year for the band in North America.
