Mosley court date pushed to December

The local man accused of crashing into and maiming a motorcyclist last August is due to enter a plea on Dec. 7.

Kevin Mosley allegedly struck West Law's motorcycle outside the Coldwater Hotel on the evening of Aug. 21. Law, also of Merritt, suffered severe injuries and lost part of his left leg as a result of the collision.

Mosley was charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm.

Mosley was scheduled to appear in Merritt court Tuesday. He was not present; however, his lawyer asked the court to schedule Mosley's arraignment hearing, where he will respond to the charge, for Dec. 7. The court granted the request.
