QUESTION OF THE WEEK

Survey results are meant for general information only, and are not based on recognised statistical methods.

Police seeking vandals

Vandals damaged several storefronts along Quilchena Avenue and Spirit Square sometime during the early morning hours Monday.

The Merritt RCMP community policing office on Quilchena Avenue had its front window smashed. The glass door of Creative Company was broken as well. A window was also smashed at the former Javalanche Café space, currently sitting vacant. The downspouts on the side of the Spirit Square stage were pulled off and tossed aside but have since been reinstalled.
So far, RCMP have not found any suspects.
