The Electric Mountain Music Festival has been shortened to two days from three. A statement on the festival’s website dated Aug. 3 attributed the change to scheduling conflicts.
Originally, the event was scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on the Labour Day long weekend. The festival will now open on Saturday, Sept. 4 in the morning and end in the early hours of Monday, Sept. 6.
Meanwhile, Meghan Edmondson of Regime Entertainment, one of Electric Mountain’s promoters, has resigned as publicist for the festival. She was unavailable for comment as of press time.
Ticket prices for the festival will remain unchanged at the “early bird” amount. The website had originally stated prices would go up as Labour Day neared.
