Dear Editor:
I'd like to thank the Merritt Fire and Rescue for the great display of professionalism and kindness they gave to our grandson on Canada Day. Bill was especially patient in showing the young fellow everything he could from clothing to controls on the apparatus, short of letting him take it for a spin around the park. For the next three days that was all he could talk about—you certainly made a 3-year-old's day. Thanks also to Martin and the rest of the crew. The city should be proud to have such a great bunch of people.
