Coquihalla Coyotes headline Music in the City tonight

Second installment of Music In the City

Local classic rock band Coquihalla Coyotes will be taking centre stage at tonight’s installment of Music in the City.

The two-piece band features Paul Thomson as vocalist and bassist and John Henry Ramsey playing the axe.

A half-year ago, Thomson began jamming with Ramsey—who happens to be the son of one of Thomson's good friends - and enjoyed the instantaneous chemistry the duo had.

Although Ramsey is only 15,Thomson says they share a love for classic rock from the 60’s and 70’s and are eager to perform.

Consequently, they have since been rehearsing some 20 tracks in advance of tonight's show.

“I enjoy playing with John Henry. He is a great young player,” says Thomson.

Music in the City 2010 runs Thursday evenings through July and August at Merritt Spirit Square.
Show times are from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
