A Burnaby man wanted on an outstanding warrant in connection with a stabbing in Merritt in December was arrested and charged last week.
Jason Wade Norris, 37, was arrested on Feb. 24 and has been charged with three counts of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and assault causing bodily harm.
On Dec. 27, Merritt RCMP responded to a call of a stabbing at an apartment complex on Menzies Street.
Norris allegedly stabbed two females and one male. The male and one female sustained multiple stab wounds.
The male was taken to Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops and treated for stab wounds to his liver. One female victim suffered from a punctured lung. RCMP say both are recuperating from their wounds.
