Missing Williams Lake woman found in Merritt

A Williams Lake woman reported missing yesterday has been found in the Merritt area according to RCMP.

Gina Lousia Roberts, 46, who was reported missing Feb. 24, has been found alive and well following a search and rescue operation carried out by rescue groups and police dog services.

At approximately 10 a.m., Roberts' grey 2001 Toyota 4 Runner was located on Highway 97C at the Loon Lake exit, about 40 km east of Merritt.

The woman was not in the vehicle at the time.
