Dear Editor:
I just wanted to voice my opinion on the editor's column last week about the feral cats and the City of Merritt. I thank you, Mr. O'Connor, for shedding some light on the subject and giving Angie Koczkur and Judanna Caros the recognition for which they so deserve. You offer a point from both sides, but I side with the ladies of the two feral pet organizations in town. I vote that the City of Merritt should be responsible for abandoned and feral cats and dogs. It truly is a shame they don't wish to help out because, in the end, the only ones who suffer are the lost cats and dogs of Merritt's city streets.
