A woman sustained minor injuries following a rollover on a Highway 5 overpass ramp Sunday afternoon.xxxxxxxxThe woman, who was travelling with two passengers, lost control of her car while entering the 286 exit ramp just east of Merritt along Highway 5.xxxxxxxxWitnesses say the woman came onto the ramp too fast and the car began to skid after hitting a patch of gravel on the road shoulder. The back end of the vehicle swung out and hit a barrier and the car rolled over into the ditch.xxxxxxxxThe driver and passengers sustained minor injuries. Merritt paramedics arrived on scene within minutes.xxxxxxxxPrior to exiting Highway 5 onto the exit ramp, drivers ride down a steep incline, descending into Merritt, and must continually apply brakes in order to exit at the posted 50 km speed limit.
